The iPod : A love story between Man and Technology

The iPod : A love story between Man and Technology

We can say without doubt today the greatest success of Apple is the iPod. The first version was 'unleashed' on the 23rd of October 2001, marking a new era. Since that date, no less than 15 different versions of iPods were created. Versions kept evolving, adapting each type of iPod (weight, capacity, video...) to each kind of person's consumption of music and technology.

The most important iPods, having each different advantages are :
- The Classic (huge capacity, display of photos, videos)
- Shuffle (small, compact and simple)
- Nano ( taking videos, viewing videos, photos, and many others such as the radio..)
- Touch ( A tactile iPod allowing internet usage and many other functions)

Many other companies, such as Microsoft and other little asian companies tried, and still try to grab hold of a small part of the market, which is almost exclusively ruled by Apple.
But Apple has proved, and continues to prove that their technology is superior, easier to use, and more efficient. Thus their supremacy.

The iPad : A great commercial success.

The iPad : A great commercial success.
The iPad is a tablet computer designed, developed and marketed by Apple primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games, and web content. It weighs 1.5 pounds (680 grams),   Apple released the iPad in April 2010, and sold 3 million of the devices in approximately 3 months.
According to a report released by Strategy Analytics, the Apple iPad had gained a 95 percent share of Tablet PC sales at the end of second quarter 2010. During the second quarter 2010, Apple had sold 4.19 million iPads around the world. The iPad could be considered the symbol of Apple's leadership in the electronic world.
